Presentation Skills

Our 'Presentation Skills' training course, can be delivered in a classroom setting or via webinar. It is possible for webinar recordings to be uploaded to an eLearning platform, along with supplementary resources, quizzes and case studies for future access.

Aims of the course

Some people like presenting, others don't. Rather than 'getting through' the next presentation, this course gives people the ability to tap their inner presenter and harness the positive aspects of presenting. This course will help individuals plan presentations, speak confidently, create rapport and deliver persuasive messages through practising and delivering presentations in a safe environment with tailored feedback.

Anyone who needs help with their presentation skills, whether presenting at work or externally, to 5 or 500 people.

Participants will learn to:

  • Speak to an audience in a convincing, confident, clear and engaging way
  • Identify, practice and apply the key skills of effective presenting
  • Plan, prepare and structure presentations
  • Keep the audience engaged and focused
  • Achieve the right balance of credibility and approachability
  • Use visual aids to enhance the presentation

  • Planning a presentation (identifying goals and defining objectives)
  • Designing a presentation (opening with a punch & closing it with flare) ning
  • Building confidence (reducing the tension, tips and techniques)
  • Engaging the audience (making a positive first impression, body language, speech tips)
  • Interacting with the audience (conveying content through topical questions, handling questions)
  • Delivering a presentation (applying learned presentation skills)
  • Action plan

What's included?

The majority of our courses are customised and delivered in-house.

Our standard fee for customised course delivery over the duration of a day is £1,400 excluding VAT. This fee includes:

-Pre-training diagnostic meetings with clients to determine training needs and priorities

-Training delivery to circa 20 people
-Trainer travel expenses and travel time
-Post-training evaluations and report
-Materials

For groups of 20 people, this fee is equivalent to an individual investment of £70 per head.
